Sixth Prestigious White Blazer Awarded at Union High School Since 2004

Samantha Charles, a Grade 12 learner at Union High School in Graaff-Reinet, received the prestigious White Blazer at the school’s Academic Awards Assembly on January 16. She received the Honours Award for achieving an exceptional academic average of 90% throughout her Grade 10 and 11 years. This award is one of the highest accolades at Union High School and is given out rarely.

Samantha is the sixth recipient of the White Blazer since 2004, joining notable past recipients like Carl Bezuidenhout, Sulette Damons, Lynne Mugglestone, Kelsey Minnaar, and Caitrin Spence. She is known for her determination and focus on academics, while being involved in various activities of school life.
