Robert Sobukwe Town – It Starts with Me Global! hosted a High Tea fundraising event at Moving Gospel Mission Church in Asherville on 10 October in support of its Cancer Awareness Campaign. The afternoon was marked by elegance and fellowship, with attendees dressing for the occasion and gathering to back an initiative that focuses on the challenges faced by individuals and families affected by cancer.
Cancer survivors also shared messages of hope, showing how their experiences can encourage others facing the disease. Their stories highlighted the importance of support and compassion for patients and their loved ones. Under the message “Together for a brighter future,” the event gave the community a chance to unite behind a meaningful cause and reaffirmed the value of solidarity and hope.
