Safer Schools Program

The PrisonDent, an NPO (Non-Profit Organization) based in the Eastern Cape presenting an innovative safer schools pro crime intervention programs dedicated to fostering Community Safety, and Prevention Crime were invited to Kroonvale Primary School on Thursday last week to address the scholars.

Brian Davids, the Director of the organization said that their mission is to reach out to schools with challenges of gangsterism, bullying, early pregnancy and sexual activity, lack of parental school support, or lack of self-confidence in learners. “The Choices You Make Today will determine Your Future Tomorrow” He emphasized.

“Our methodology is to (MIED) Motivation, Inspiration, Education and Demonstration to every learner in every school in South Africa aiming to prevent crime by educating and Inspiring Positive behavioral changes among learners,” said Davids.

Brendon Daniels, principal of Kroonvale Primary school, appreciated the program and is happy and hoping that the children will change their behavior.

The prisonDent was dressed in his Gallia Black and orange side, where the Black represents the Education and Orange Incarceration, portrays the phenomenal versus the criminal side of life.

It is of paramount importance that every learner in every school must get clear guidance towards their future in South Africa.

The Learners enjoyed the demonstration practiced as real-life decisions.

Started in photography, capturing stories within his community, he later worked as a freelance contributor for the Graaff-Reinet Advertiser.
